Sorry... that may have been a tad harsh, but its rather annoying when you repeatively talk the talk but keep struggling to walk the walk...

The cream always rises to the top Mr Teach. Finals is the time for you to really hit form. I have never heard the saying "Don't spit in the sky".
Is it because it will come down...perhaps on the spitter
or is it because it is just a filthy habit.

Tips for this weekend:

McLaren who have had a few stumbles the last 2 games should have the finals experience to take care of Pt Elliot. JI will need some help and look for the class of Gianni Petrucci & Bodie 'That Man' Wilson too really step up!

Encounter Bay after stumbling last week have IMO been the best team in the comp and deserve top spot. With Butler and a few others back from last weeks side I think they will be too strong for Aldinga. Bryce will be the only resistance.
The greats weren't great because at birth they could paint,
The greats were great because they paint a lot.

Yep, well played Pt Elliot. At times well out of the game, but continued to push all day. As an exciting game and finish to a game that most people have seen. As for Natale, seems as though he's getting the desired results.. the "Angry Ant" maybe getting the opposition to think about other stuff than the game.. part of his brief!

Yep, McLaren will need to bat better this week.

Wow what a weekend both games could have gone either way.....

Enc bay beat Aldinga. With Mods back with some later power hitting, and The Mclaren boys winning a cliffhanger at Goolwa. Duncombe the hero hitting a 6 off the last over to get the Mclaren boys over the line. Another Collapse by the middle order showing McLaren may have some problems......

Bad Luck to the Elliot Lads top bunch of guys who played the game in great spirit. Should be a cracker against Aldinga this week, hopefully a good crowd down there to watch this cut throat match....

Anyone know who has won the association trophies for each grade yet???

Bloods it was a cracker of a game and i really would like to congratulate Pt Elliott on not only their season but the way they played the game on the weekend. always played in great spirits with those boys and they just kept fighting and fighting on the weekend which gave them a massive chance. I must make mention of Brett Johnstone, this bloke CAN bowl, he bowled superbly on the weekend (well backed up by Kuss) and i know the ball i got was a gem.

To the Crusher boys, let's just keep defying the odds and the critics. A great achievement so far with such a young squad and one last thing, something needs to be mentioned about young Scott Galletly, 4 wickets on Saturday backed up by a match winning 36 on Sunday. At just 19 years of age has shown maturity beyond his years and has massive potential.

Cant wait to play Bryce, Rosa and the boys this weekend

to get your wicket mr teach it must have been. its good to see someone else pinching some wickets off ifould for a change. although you would think that if he keeps taking wickets like that he may find himself back in the b grade.

Dont know what your talking about Chee Quee, There are a few of our bowlers who have taken as many wickets as Ife this year, Wilson is leading the wickets closely followed by DiFabio, Ife, Petrucci, Duncombe and Galletly. Plenty of bowling options for a side who was labelled earlier in the year as a lack of firepower
