I remember this game!! Pretty sure the matting got torn during this game as well from an over zealous bowler possibly hitting the bowling crease a little too hard?? Although, I could possibly be remembering this incorrectly - the old mind is a bit shady these days

It certainly came down to the wire in the end, was plenty of fire in the belly in the 4th innings. At least day two was a bit more pleasant, certainly wasn't a get together for a few beers after the match , good to see relationships have been mended between the two clubs.
