Might not interest many people but how about this for a hot streak

Last week Frank McConnell for EPFC took 5/58. Nothing overly exciting about that but add this to his end of season last year

SF-2/2 (of only 3 overs before rain stopped play)

the last time these two teams played was the Grade 3 grand final 10 years ago. Rosies won by about 5 wickets. Rosies are having their 10 year reunion on the 2nd saturday of this match.

That's what I thought. Got some horrible memories of a match that season hey mate, Daniel and I were discussing it the other night, the worst day of cricket I've been involved with.

I remember this game!! Pretty sure the matting got torn during this game as well from an over zealous bowler possibly hitting the bowling crease a little too hard?? :twisted: Although, I could possibly be remembering this incorrectly - the old mind is a bit shady these days

It certainly came down to the wire in the end, was plenty of fire in the belly in the 4th innings. At least day two was a bit more pleasant, certainly wasn't a get together for a few beers after the match :D , good to see relationships have been mended between the two clubs.
