I think!?

Correct.

It would make 366 a truly par score :D ;) .

It was. We just wanted to go to stereos ;) then you made us bat again!!

Must say, I was very impressed by young McDougall and Wild. Bowled very well!!

McDowall. Although you may have just added another name to his already long list of nicknames.

What was that apprentice?

Don't worry ab, there will be alot more to come out of this for sure.
Whilst I don't commend dissent, this is a blatant case of over officiating. 20 runs is absolutely ludicrous. Smae umpire that cost us a game 5 years afo, and seems to have a real problem with the MPCC, which surprises me after he spoke to me at length in our clubrooms after the David Lee match last round. Very, very dissappointed.

Same thing happened to Coro last year, 2 penalties, 5 runs apiece, same umpire so not just MPCC it happens to. I believe Coro took matter to the league but nil further action. I've played cricket for many many years with loads of umpires of differing abilities & characters (some good, some great, some poor & some shockers :? ) but never seen an umpire give penalty runs..to hear it happen & see it this many times as people are saying on here, surely this has to be at least looked at & discussed at league/umpire level ? Coincidence ? It's not hard to work out the common denominator in this issue & it isnt MPCC or Coro. :D

I'm sure the Keswick boys, apart from on here who thought it needed to be known to all and sundry, would not have lost sleep over it and have moved on. I assume that it would have been a talking point over a beer for around 5 minutes on Saturday night, and after that would not have been mentioned.

Is this when they go back to their clubrooms?

We'll see what happens tonight. I've sent our umpire report directly to Craig Lawn and Phil Davis so hopefully something comes of it.

Coro v ICC - apart from last week, Coro have been unbelievable this year
Belair v WYC - WYC are setting the standard in section 1
Morphies v South Rd - a must-win for both teams and I'll back us in
Sheidow v Keswick - not much seperating these two, depends on which Keswick line-up comes out to bat
Ramblers v Cove - this will be a tight one, Ramblers to win on home advantage
ANA v Plympton - ANA are in struggletown

Belair v WYC - WYC
Morphies v South Rd - Match of the round IMO. Got a feeling South Road may just pip them with Willo in form. Harts to get a diamond duck
Sheidow v Keswick - Sheidow

OK. Moe just get's home, slightly tipsy and decides to give some tips.

1. Belair: Because WYC boyz have to stuff up soon. If not? Beair chasing 400+
2. Keswick: Because they are first alphabetically
3. Cove: M.Thomas to be reported
4. ANA: Start of a big run home. Been foxing. 1 in a row coming up.
5. ICC: Easy to type when you are not at your soberest :partyman:
6. Morphies: Thrasher to make runs, and take wickets, but unfortunately at the wrong ground due to the fact that South Road players have no idea where Morphettville Park oval is situated. Andrew Wright, as umpire, docks MPCC 200 runs because the president gets angry at the fact that the club has lost revenue again, but during the second week, which the Association has granted South Road a reprieve, and given every section 1 player a free Gregory's ( that's a street directory for all those out there), Morphy's chase down 212, and serve up an afternoon tea that stands alone in the Association.

South Road 10/226 vs Morphies. Williams 60not out, Potts 46, Calder 36

Congrats to Darren 'Barny' Williams with his first ever a grade half century!

We umpired ourselves today due to personal reasons for Tony Fremone and I'm sure the Morphy lads would agree it worked really well.
