Have heard a strong rumour that the Buffalos have selected an experienced older player to lead them on the field for 2011/12 should be announced this Friday at their Season Launch.
Won't all be available for Round One, but a strong West Torrens lineup for this season, including the following:
Ferguson
George
Blizzard
Crosthwaite
James Smith
Kelly
Cullen
Haslett
Obviously there will be plenty of opportunities for younger players to force their way in when half of the above are away on State duty.
Cheers

Ferg playing and Jimmy Smith playing both days. Mind you with Doropoulos, Bailey and Plant the Bays will certainly be no walk over! Should be a great game....if the rain stays away!

How typical SMAC, never let the truth get in the way of propaganda coming from you. You know as well as everyone that the grade clubs get requested for their thoughts. From that Cate and the program committee get 13 different requests, so they then have the difficult job of sorting through what clubs want and get some sort of program which tries to please everyone. In my opinion they have done a very good job the last couple of years, continuing the good work Shane used to do before promotion.
