Haven't seen the team for this weekend, but i will not be playing due to a work mates wedding in Gawler.

I wouldn't think Andy would need to bowl more than ten overs to pick up his 2 wickets needed to win the trophy outright. But i am sure the win is the main priority for him, he, as the whole side was were gutted after losing last week.

I'm sure he'll jag a couple of the top order OC, he's not second leading wicket taker for the season for no reason.

Massive results yesterday,Enc Bay all out 108 willunga 1/41,Maroons 220 against Port Elliot,Aldinga 230 angainst Golds and Goolwa 125 have Vale 4/68 door is well and truly open,Goolwa went out thinking we could not rely on other teams loosing and had a crack at an outright looks like all we needed to do is just play a normal game .
Be the ball and just tapp it in.....

After the first days play the door has opened up for willunga. If goolwa, golds and elliot lose which is quite possible and willunga take care of bays, they can move from 7th to 4th. Has been a great minor round and one of the most competetive seasons ever!

WOW!!! what a mix of results so far... safe to say the comp has been the closest contested for many years! Willunga should be able to get the 60 runs required to win, then one feels that 220 is too many runs for Pt Elliot to chase down, giving maroons the win, and McLaren should be good enough to get the runs against Goolwa, which leaves if Golds dont chase down aldinga's 230 Willunga should finish in 4th spot on %! If this is all the case then the ladder will finish as:

Aldinga...... 51pts
Encounter Bay...... 45pts
McLaren...... 45pts
Willunga...... 36pts

Compass Gold..... 36pts
Pt Elliot..... 36pts
Goolwa..... 30pts
Compass Maroon..... 18pts

With % likely to play a determining factor in who finished 2 & 3 and 4, 5 & 6, what a cracking final round of cricket it will be!

If Peek gets out early, Enc bay will win. If Ifould gets out Goolwa will win.
Mighty Sharks will be minor premiers on there way to the Premiership Cup! Schofield will take 5.

I think the Port Elliot Game is not over as yet.

I believe it is being played at burgess which means 220 isnt really that hard to get on that deck and with the depth of the compass bowling attack i actually think port elliot will win the game

Willunga and McLaren should hold on and will be an interesting chase for Compass Golds but with some Guns in the shed not over as yet

Yep, will be an interesting final week. With percentage playing an important role as well, will we see teams push for additional wickets / runs? ie, Willunga for example. If they pass the score, will they bat on, knowing that they may risk adversely affect their percentage? (it is possible for both Pt Elliot and Gold's to lose, however lose "well", and improve their percentage).. thoughts?

Well what a week we have..Could Willunga come from 7th???...they will win.
I wouldnt rite off Pt Elliot just yet. 227 at Burgess is below par but still something to bowl at!!
McLaren 4/68, they should get up but Goolwa will be happy with the 4 wickets..just need JI's wicket
Aldinga will win easy & finish top.

my top 4

Aldinga
EBay
McLaren Districts
Willunga on %

Whats with Mod's playing B's this week for ebay?

My informant has told me that Shane "Chopper" Brown will be batting at number 10 on the weekend. With the likes of Tomlinson, Nash, Binns and Connor before him you would like to hope Golds would be able to chase down 240. Golds are against a pretty mediocre attack aswell. I was told if Parko bowls short balls like the one he got Bartschy with to Connor, square/fine leg will be retrieving the ball from the shallow waters of Silver Sands.
