see a guy in one of the lower grades scored a ton yesterday against my old side Enfield, thing about it was that he made 100 and the side is 3/113, must have hogged the strike alot

Yeah, I noticed that too - Andrew Thomson who is a big slogger who has been playing for ages - you may know him Locky.

And boo to the Sunday Mail (or someone involved in the process of reporting the scores) for saying that NE Knights were 3/90 in our game when they are really 7/90. Surely they should have picked up on this error when one of our bowlers was quoted as having taken 4 wickets :? :? :?

I am going to put a complaint in to our association, because there are stupid errors in the scores in the Sunday Mail every week.

for my many fans who wish to be updated re: my batting exploits-
I opened the batting for the first time since 1993 on sat.
We were 1/0 (not me out either)
I batted for 16 overs, to be out for 12- & we were 2/22.
Our #'s 3 & 4 then went on to make 39 & 39.
We ended up making 130-odd i think.
as a side, it was vast improvenment, as we've struggled to build a score, or spend time in the middle.

Punk, have sent those stats on and got a phone call straight back, can you ring Paul Nobes at SACA, he is looking for an opening batsman that can bat for 16 overs

Locky,
I made 19 on Saturday & batted for 23 overs.
My good form has put pressure on the Redbacks, who under duress, have found some form themselves
