Spainiard, with odds like that in a four horse race you would go broke very quickly. Should be more like Shoes 1/2, Porties 14/10, Kangys 4/1, Flaggies 6/1

Porties at $1.40 is a bit short, wouldn't get many taking those odds.

I see Jarhead Thorpe now has his A-grade batting average up to 7.40. Surely with his confidence sky high he will come out in the finals and blaze a century or two.

Jarred Thorpe is the most dominant spinner in the SCA. He doesn't need to have his batting average up.
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is

Sure he does spin the ball an absolute mile and is very popular with the ladies, but the century he makes tomorrow will certainly help Kangy's chances of winning.

Booky odds have changed.
Porties 5 to 1
Noarlunga 3 to 1
Flaggies 12 to 1
Think that loss is the one Noarlunga had to have, the week off is not an advantage in cricket. Noarlunga will tune up nicely this week unless Flaggies can pull out a miracle.

Spaniard, you really have no idea how to frame a betting market do you!! Think about it....if I put $1 on every team, I cannot lose and you as the bookie would be broke after five minutes!!

The real market would probably read something like this....Porties 1/2, Noarlunga Evens, Flaggies 3/1.

Nah I'm not a punter but I just like the discussion my lack of idea on the subject creates. Are Noarlunga still favourites, I think so. Can't bat that badly in the top order again. Think the big guns might destroy Flagstaff Bahr cos' his off spin is too loopy.

I wouldnt think Noarlunga would be favourites after the hiding they copped on the weekend and also Porties lead the head to head battle 2-1 for the year.
My odds would be...Porties $1.80, Noarlunga $2.60 & Flaggies $6.50

neither side winning the B grade flag would be classed as an upset.
Both sides can play very good attacking cricket when required.
Should be a close game
