Absolutely no chance of play at Ingle Farm - under water this morning and curator will not be able to get on it today.

From the ATCA website

"Please note the cancellation of all ATCA Senior fixtures for 16 October 2010 due to the weather conditions which have hampered any pitch preparation.

It is planned the matches in grades A1 to C3 will now be played as one day fixtures on Saturday 23 October

At this stage play scheduled for the Juniors Sunday 17 October are to remain as per the program, the Emergency Committee will make this decision on Saturday morning.

A message has been left on the ATCA recorded service confirming the above, the number for your reference is 1900 950 598."

More time to oil the bat and decide which club can have my services
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

0-1mm forecast for both Friday and Saturday, shouldn't be much in it.
http://www.bom.gov.au/jsp/watl/rainfall/pme.jsp
Last weekend they were spot on too, everyone was worried there would be heavy rain on Friday and saturday yet the forecast maps said bugger all and that's exactly what happened, bugger all!

At least this time they won't call it off so early, they only jump the gun like that when it's the first week of a two day game.

Jumped the gun! You're kidding aren't you. Most places had 15-20mm from Thursday night to Friday night and ther was no way we could have got a pitch up. I thought ATCA made the right call and timing was perfect.

still think even with my tramendis talent out at INGLE FARM CC will we get related to B1 in a couple of years after looking at the players we have.... now for that captain spot

Nah, not kidding.
Adelaide had 0.2mm of rain on Thursday when most of the pitch preperation was done.
Yeah, Friday was a bit wet with 10.2mm but Saturday was sunny and windy, perfect conditions for drying out. We would have played at our ground.

You must have been the exception to the rule. I saw some pretty reasonable showers come through Saturday which on top of 10-15mm would have made it impossible to play. ATCA and SACA both call off all turf games Saturday - that includes A Grade where ethey have covers. Couldn't even get Salisbury oval up for Ray Sutton on Sunday, so the kids played hard wicket.

Merki you fool, its the IFDCC and the club was closed. when we signed you there was a clause like the bulldogs had with Aker, (media ban), now shut your hole and f*** off, just like Aker was told.
