Maybe Words of Wisdom can shed some light.. appears they had a few outs on the weekend.. no Faggotter, Princi, Sean Hutchy didn't bat?

Tilt wont play to much cricket at the moment, still stuggling from footy injuries. Princi & Fags im not sure about. Alldritt made 50 in the first game but has had a knee op & is out. I've been telling Tomo i'll fill in but the mind thinks it capable of something the body is not. I would of only been a 50/50 chance of getting the total to 43 anyway
This is why Pongy hasn't had an A grade. One match they'll beat Goolwa & push Willunga to the end but with a few people missing, 42 is the end result.

sean hutchy said to tommo he was on his way to town and didnt tell anyone he wasnt playing, and princi could only play the second week..theyre seriously in a bit of strife but theyre certainly not down and out! theyve got some quality players there, it just didnt seem like they took it too seriously! plus simon donaldson can seriously roll his arm over and with good support from other recruit A.Lydeamore,S.Goldsmith and H.Robertson , will have many of sides reeling

It is great to see the club has 3 senior teams this year though. I would rather see a struggling Pongy than no Pongy at all! How does the future look WoW? Any kids coming through the ranks who could be future A Graders.

On a side note, I have noticed Goolwa forfeited their one day side on the weekend. I also heard from a few sources at Dingy that they have players coming out of their ears at the moment and had half a dozen blokes who missed out on a game at the weekend. I wonder if some sort of 'loan' scheme could occur allowing players to play at other clubs as fill-ins? Would be a bit complicated and controversial I'm sure, but would also mean more people are playing our great game.

How can he not be playing A's.
Maybe he could take on a Dave Wenham type of role. Bat at number seven have a bit of a bowl and he could even do a bit of keeping from time to time.

Vitkunas would probley be opening the batting in A grade at any other club genuine batsman that bowls thunderbolts just doesnt have the support to bat higher from the compass maybe should look elsewere?

With loans there is always money that needs to be exchanged.
No Spurling means Goolwa would have some spare greenbacks you would think

I've heard the club has it's 1st junior side this year in 10+ years so thats a positive step.

Don't get to ahead of yourself there Bloods. From what i heard Donaldson bowls nice line and length, which if he can hit the pitch hes got me stuffed but far from seriously getting them there, if thats what your talking about. Good to see Elliot up there but its only early.... refer to RockyB's comments from last season to not get ahead of yourself

We do have a few players at the moment but that can fluctuate as season goes on. The new sub divisions have provided some radoms that have walked in, healthy numbers helps the clubs.
I heard that Goolwa really pushed for the one day comp but had to forifiet.. interesting
Congrats to thommo and pongy (and pt elliott although bloods talks himself and the team up too much) for throwing in an A grade side. At least they giv it a crack unlike the pathetic victor and yank, they were doing this 10 yrs ago when i was palying and there still doing it now. love to be a big fish in a small pond..

ah someones gotta get people talking on here if rockyb has hung up his safooty boots im more than happy to fill em for him :) its definatly good to see pongy back playing As its better than having two compass sides! i think that young red head j.patterson is a good young bowler can certainly hurl em down and at a good pace! and if they can get sean and faggoter back i think pongy will certainly pick up the pace !
