you idiot you couldn't see the ball 15 years ago how are you going to see it now ? i remember you shots the classic on drive it usually ended up at fine leg your pull shot usually went over the bowlers head but i'll give you this you did at least get bat on ball or was it the bowler getting ball on bat ?

BAYMAN you were absolutely spot on, as usual a great form anaylist.
Your preview OF HOW I PLAY SHOTS was almost exact.

I came in at 6/213 with 9 overs to go.

ball 1 outside of stump I flashed hard but missed.
ball 2 I went for a cover drive and snicked it down to fine leg for I run.
ball 3 forward defence beaten outside off stump
ball 4 off drive, inside edge to backward square
ball 5 short played the pull shot and as Bayman said I would I snicked the ball
to the keeper and was caught behind.

Too old too fat too slow [not BAYMAN] to play cricket.

MAG80'S your call was only 1 run out, great post the opposition is 0/1

Ecky opened and made a blazing 17, his sqaure driven 4 and his hook for 4
will be etched in my memory for ever.

Now chaps I am an allrounder
all round batsmen
all round bowler
all round the stomach.

Ecky will win this game , but can win outright if he uses MAL's off spinners.

Stay tuned.

I faced 5 balls , twice beaten and 3 edges, I cant be too sore after that !
Next week when I bowl Eckys mob to victory will be the prob.

M80S to save confusion I did go for runs the last 2 mornings
but they were not 15 + 10 km runs but closer to 1.5 + 1.0 kms.

Good work mal. At least you got out there and helped out the team. We play an extra 90 minutes in my local comp which rules me out with my dodgy knees. Good luck next week.

ECKY has just e/mailed me to tell me he wants to bowl me an over before tea.
We are defending 231 they are 0/1

Whats wrong with you ECKY dont you wanna win the game outright?
I would suggest first change on saturday.

if the batting team are close enough to winning it before tea, with MALS over they just may bring up the victory in that over :!:
