We were stuffed as well, we would have had to forfeit because of the rain Sunday, all our blokes were required for harvest

Yeah chad Wegener has been bowling real well, taken 8 or 9 in the first 3 games so it’s a shame he doesn’t get to bowl in the last 2 dayer for a while! Lol

Haha nah I was taking the piss, cricket is a funny game so anything can happen on the day obviously.. Adding nugget and Fenwick in would have been good for us, should put us in a good position to give it a serious crack hopefully! They will both play the rest of the year I’m pretty sure so helps the batting line up heaps

Units look to have the best balanced side in grade 2 when you add Nugget, Fenwick, Woody, Knapp.

Most other sides tend to rely on a couple players to do the bulk of the work, and in the past couple years for units that would be Dave & Johnny and probs to a lesser extent Thomas & Bradshaw.

Now they have depth with the ball and a balanced, deep batting lineup.. and a number of guys who can be a match winner.

Yeah Nug and Fenners is massive

Nug is just pure quality, can bat for long periods, wears bowlers down and makes life a hell of a lot easier for the other ten blokes.

Fenners will compliment that with some hitting power especially come finals. Bowling sides will be nervous with him and Woody in the line up come finals, knowing them to bat for ten overs and the game will be in their favour.

At this stage Units win it for me ahead of OTH.

Adding Nugget and Fenners helps the balance but there's a lot of all-rounders floating about there, if Knappy, Chad and Johnny are content to bat 9,10 Jack then that helps a lot, especially with the keeper batting 8, it's a fair juggling act but one you'd rather have to work out as a captain.

Will be tough on one bloke if everyone is available next round, 7 bowlers to choose from is a fair luxury too.

Will be interesting to see how Benny Mc goes out in the B&L, had a fair start but it was against a struggling Greenock.

Benny Mac could step on a NBA court and drop 3's, get on an NFL field and score a touchdown.

The bloke is a freak, probably one of the best all round sportsmen I've seen. No matter what level he plays he always finds a way to step up.

It's usually under 13's and under 15's mate.

Andrew Quinlish 0410 682 744 would be your best bet, or Peter Clarkson.

How good is Salisbury West? Their A's was absolutely depleted on Saturday but still able to knock off arguably the most dangerous side in the comp.

Massive win for NEK after knocking off the COVID-19/20 premiers, will do wonders for their confidence.

Then the Gardens go and knock off the highly fancied Pines, I would've ended up with 0/3 tips.

SACA has condensed the carnivals this year into one, SACA Representative Carnival for U12, U14 and U16 age groups. The U16 age group is split into 3 conferences. 2 conferences made up of the 8 country regions and 1 conference consisting of ATCA North, ATCA South, PDCA and South Central with finals to be played the following week. Will be interesting to see what happens if the PDCA and ATCA are U13 and U15
