From what I saw at the LOD's it could just be that Grade. Heard an A grader had to step back from playing A grade earlier in the year and he played a couple of games in the B's but refused to play with the captain?

Just had a look at the B Grade Captain is Vice President of the Club.

I will be interested to see Tigerpie's take on it as I know he is a passionate Reynella man and I am sure it will not wash well with the majority if the club has the integratity I thought it did.

Well done by Para Hill to beat the mighty $$$ of Pooraka to make the GF in the top Div, Unfortunately looks like they will now loose their coach as I'm hearing he's being chased by a few Grade Clubs after the outstanding job he did this year.

Speaking to the Iggies lads, Reynella's first 5 wickets were all lbw which might give a bit more light on the story.

Still you should never name the umpire 5/0 in the paper

If blokes are being suspended for social media posts then the captain/club should also be sanctioned for being so precious.....

Think you will find that this will be handled in the correct and appropriate way by those in the higher echelons of Oval Rd.

As a proud Reynella person, i'm disgusted in what was put in the paper, and yes this person will be severely dealt with tonight. It is not the way we do things at our club.

Although highly amusing for those not involved, it really is quite average behavior.

Good to see the club intends to deal with the person responsible.

Agreed, while its disrespectful to the umpire and winning side (everyone loves the winning GF paper clip in the old scrapbook) and not a great look for the club/ATCA. Id say the club with be swift in their action and ATCA will probably be happy with what punishment they hand out. make him sit our the first few games next year and take his captaincy/VP role away.

Not sure who put the scores in yet, but if it was the captain, he's gone!

TP, think you will have an interesting meeting tonight! , very average behaviour by a senior committee person  has upset some very proud Reynella people

This is the exact reason why they have brought in social media policies across all sports

Yes Hound we are extremely embarrassed/disappointed/angry about this.

Which is disappointing for you blokes as at the LOD's the congratulatory speech by the losing captain made mention of Reynella would be 1 of the small number of club's he respects in the ATCA. That opinion may change now.

TigerPie, How'd it pan out? Was it the skipper or not? If so, what was the penalty?

I will let TP answer the question! but knowing how they run the club Life member or not it will be handled appropriately and any ramifications will be the same for anyone associated with them. They are a very proud club and run well. You may have to wait for 15/16 to get your answer :)

With the season over surely there are some player movement rumours around.....,.. Walkerville goin up to A1 their 3 poms goin home and Prospect sniffing about their coach!! Pooraka, Payneham, Grange, Woody Rech and Brighton will all be looking to add to their
Playing groups to put some silverware in the cabinet! A massive well done to Reynella on reaching A1 they have come up through the grades and when you come up against them you know your up for a fight not doubt they will be competeive a well run club that is always welcoming to the opposition.
