Pratt from north plays for prospectCC,
Warren Smith from adelaide CC played for south,
Ken Mcgregor played A gradecricket as a 15/16 year old for port adelaide ,
nathan Woods played some league footy for the bays and some A grade cricket with adelaide and prospect,
I reckon paul Magarey from sturt (cricket and footy) has done both.
Delvins from north played cricket for prospect A's.
todd ferguson has won a A grade keeping trophy and played some decent SANFL as a lead out full forward.
Nick kurzel played SANFL for north and A grade cricket for prospect.
Tim weatherald was a very good cricketer, bowling leggies and batting.
Sam Chadwick played a handful of A grade games for adelaide as well as playing for westy's

1990 - played his one and only league game against South at Adelaide Oval when D. Jarman kicked 9 on a really wet day.

Ah thanks, I thought he played around 1987-88. I should have looked at the 1991 Football Times Year Book. ;) It says he came from South Perth.

That would be this match then:
North 6.1 8.3 11.7 15.11 (101)
South 3.2 5.4 6.9 7.10 (52)
Adelaide, 3672

Barrie Robran - played Sheffield Shield as well as being a batsman for Prospect.
Malcolm Blight - played A Grade for Woodville.
Ralph Sewer - opened the batting for Woodville A Grade.
Eric Freeman - Test all rounder and Port Adelaide full forward.
Mick Clingly - West Torrens 1953 premiership player (BOG) and Woodville leg spinner of the 60's.
Bob Hank - West Torrens champion who was a very good B Grade cricketer; reckon he played some A Grade.
Roy Laird - left arm medium-fast bowler for Salisbury before coaching Central.
Geoff Parker - Ex-Victorian batsman and Under 19 Australian vice-captain who played Sheffield Shield for SA, batted for Woodville, played SANFL for South Adelaide, Reserves for Essendon. Always looked good till he got out....
Andrew McIntyre - tall 80's South Adelaide player who was an A Grade batsman for Adelaide.
Phil Gallagher - Norwood champ who kept wickets for Glenelg A Grade.
Shane Reardon - Woodville defender who kept wickets for Woodville A Grade.
Tim Young - West Torrens 60's footballer, Woodville medium pacer.
John Nason - South Adelaide player, Adelaide medium pacer who went on to captain-coach Woodville's 77-78 A Grade premeirship side.
John Halbert - Sturt Magarey Medallist who played Sheffield Shield as a batsman while at Teachers College.
Lindsay Head - West Torrens triple Magarey Medallist who batted and bowled a few leg spinners for SA.
Craig Bradley - as mentioned, Sheffield Shield for two states (saw him make a B Grade hundred for Port Adelaide once).
Neil Hawke - Test fast bowler who played for Port Adelaide and West Torrens.
David Wildy - North Adelaide defender and Prospect A Grade cricketer.

Off topic, but honourable mentions:

David David - cranio-facial surgeon and 1966 District Cricketer of the Year (now Bradman Medal) playing for University.
Darrell Cahill - Port Adelaide and State rover who was a State amateur golfer.
Max O'Connell - Test umpire and Port Adelaide Seconds player.

Pretty sure Jamie Cox played one league game for Glenelg while he was at the Cricket Academy.

Shannon Hurn must be one of the few players to be a memeber of a SACA A-Grade premiership team and SANFL league premiership team in the same year...

If Barrie Robran played in Prospect's 1971 A Grade premiership side (I reckon he would have), then he would be another.

Scott Borlace - SANFL - Norwood, Cricket - TTG. Played a few A Grade games. Was also in the Australian U/15 side in 1995 that toured England. Very good legspin bowler and solid bat. May have gone further had he chosen to pursue cricket.

Todd Price - SANFL - Eagles, Cricket - East Torrens

Ben Cameron played reserves for Norwood before concentrating on his cricket career. Have no doubt he would have played league for Norwood.

Matt Kelly (Norwood/Crows) & Richard Kelly (Norwood/Glenelg) also played A grade district cricket for East Torrens.

Ben Kemp - Cricket for East Torrens, Football - Norwood/Collingwood/Sydney

He only played Reserves, not League.

By the way, I reckon it would be much easier to compile a definitive list of Test Cricketers (or even State cricketers) who have also played SANFL League than doing it this way. There would have been hundreds who would have played both SANFL and A-Grade cricket in the early days of both competitions.

I believe that David Sincock is the only Glenelg League player who has also played Test cricket, unless you include the games that Keith Miller played for Glenelg/West during WW2.

I'm sure that i remember Paul Nobes playing a few games of magoos for North in the 80's, i remember watching him on TV when the magoos were on live. But Dragonfly says I am dreaming, he's a big Rooster and cricket fan so would be more likely to be correct.

I seem to recall that Nobes was good mates with Jars?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think former Test umpire Robin Bailhache played some matches with South.
David Hookes was part of the Torrens Thirds team which won the flag in 1973.

All the Test players to have played SANFL I can think of (and with the help on here):

Eric Freeman
Donald Gehrs
George Giffen
Neil Hawke
Clem Hill
Barry Jarman
Gil Langley
Martin McCague
Keith Miller
Jack Reedman
Victor Richardson
David Sincock
Merv Waite
Ernie Jones

First Class Cricketers:
Craig Bradley
Mick Clingly
John Halbert
Lindsay Head
Ben Higgins
Bob Lee
John Lill
Geoff Parker
Barrie Robran
Bob Simunsen
Don Robins
Alfred Ryan

Umpires in either sport; first-class or League player in the other
Robin Bailhache
Ken Cunningham

Edit: Simunsen added to 1st Class list

Me mate Beefer Marty, great bloke, pulled in the women, dont know how, wasn't the best footballer going around and reckon he was one of the worst opening bowlers ever for England
