AFL - 'We Are Hawthorn'
SANFL - 'Pride of the Bay'
WAFL - 'Diehards, Volumes 1&2' - Subiaco.

And yes, the book is just as good as the 1945-1990 one, even allowing for the rare information that is still around. Some wonderful finds in there from even as far back as 1897, a Season Ticket Book from that year is shown.

I think I may have missed that as well Aerie.
The only reason I haven't got a South or Swan Districts history book is because
neither club has put one out.

No.
'We Are Hawthorn' is pictorially themed.
Read 'The Hard Way' then look at the pictures in the other.

The best AFL book i have read is The road to Kardina
SANFL The pride of the Bay.
I find Westies book not the greatest i have a copy but it is too small for the history of the great club.

That 1897 season ticket book was on display at Gerrys for quite a while. One of the nicest pieces of SANFL memorabilia I've ever seen. If it had been a North one from that era I'd have sold my soul to get it!
