There are a couple of names I have left there.
The Cahill left there played for West in 1945-46 and in South in 1947, you had Laurie Cahill for South in 1945. I'm not sure about that one, maybe Legs can be the double checker.
I have also left the two questioned marked Taylor, as the newspaper only had "Taylor" as the votes.

The initials for the Sturt players came out of the 1995 publication "True Blue".

The other differences I have accepted.

The Cahill I have at West in that time is J Jnr Cahill 1936-46

I do know Laurie Cahill coached West in the 50's but I dont think he played for them if he did he isnt in there book at least.

I had a look through some 1946 Advertisers and couldn't find any references to Cahill's first name. There definitely was a Cahill who was regularly in West's best players that year and also played in the State Game against WA. He played mainly at ruck-rover and in defence, but unfortunately the papers rarely published players first names (or even initials) in those days unless there were two with the same surname.

Also, K Nagel is Keith Nagel
I Kleinig is Ian Kleinig.

Yes, it was Kevin Charnstrom from Norwood in 1954, the problem there was that 1954 was the year I tallied the votes up from the results game by game (in no particular order). The likelihood of a mistake was therefore much higher.

It was Des Hage who played for South in 1958 (and in 1957).
The West Adelaide book "Blood, Sweat and Tears" had a R.D Higgins who played in 1968. The newspaper had Brenton Higgins. There were no other Higgins for West that year, so I shall make it R.Brenton Higgins.
