Biggest Waste of talent?

Im sure every club has a player who could have been anything but never used their talent.
For North I nominate Adam Saliba who end the end appeared just to 'give up' and stop playing.
Which ones from your or other clubs are there?

Im with u Brad
I grew up with Adam and we used to go for kicks up at Gilles Plains (now windsor gardens) High every saturday morning. His talent was 2nd to none, it was just unfortunate that the booze monster took over.
Adelaide de-listed him after he "did hard time" after being caught drink driving whilst being unlicenced (for drink driving)... which was a bit harsh i thought considering what players get away with nowadays.

Darren Bartsch from westies in the mid 80s
only person to be singed by 4 AFL clubs and not play a single game
had a heart the size of a carraway seed

New him well Blacky, worked with him on a few Gala Auctions etc with Vic Woods. Even as a bloke he was soft. Went to Essendon, came back and went to Port.
I also remember a guy we recruited from the Bombers years ago. Cant remember his name, all I can remeber he had bad acne scares. Came with the big reputation and lasted three games!

Remember Rodney Galt - West Torrens, would have to be one of the biggest non-performers - they say he was a champion on the pinball machine in the gym.

And ofcourse there was Crackers Son. Often refered to as the dumbest bloke to play footy.

Remember listening to N*** K***** at a sportsmans night in '92 and he certainly didn't have too many complimentary things to say about Bartsch.

Laurence Angwin would have to be number one on this list. Has all the potential but just afraid of some hard work which is needed to play in the AFL.

Adam Hatswell (Walkerville, Roosters)... always better than Monfries, Eckermann and the Lower twins...

Richard Anderson, centreman for Norwood in late 80s.
Won rookie of the year, had talent to burn...but faded away with off-field issues apparently.

Despite playing a lot of league games Lucas Hebert could be added to this list.
Had the ability to play AFL but unfortunately only has the mindset to play Amateurs.
The famous call from "Dianne" from The Roost at Alberton 3 or 4 years ago rings so true in my mind when he was going for a mark and then ran away from the play because the sun was in his eyes. "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane!"

Norwood supporters would be better qualified to comment on this. I always thought Jonathon Ross looked something till other things got in the way. Things like his head.

Having seen most of Richard Anderson and Jonathon Ross' careers unfold I'd suggest they are good calls for this topic ... Was chatting with a mate last night who played underage footy with Darren Kupsch who for memory debuted at a pretty young age and was touted as being a considerable talent, any North fans able to comment on him?

Just thought of a very obvious candidate:
Eugene Warrior.
Won the '97 reserves GF off his own boot, but the guy had serious issues...

No worries REB, I think the same of the former GUY member, Aaron Hall.
Pseudo, Eugene's situation reminds me of a situation a current SANFL player is in.
