This round is the 2nd highest scoring ever since the 1991 season (4 matches a week)

156.103 (1039) was scored, the highest as stated in the other records thread was 163.74 (1052) in Round 25 1995. The other time 1000 points or more was scored since 1991 was Round 17 1993 when 150.122 (1022) was scored.

An average of 129.9 points per team was scored this round, the highest round 20 average since 1983, when 138.3 points were scored on average.

Today, Eagles kicked a record 3rd quarter score over Norwood, 8.6 (54) to 0.0 (0), previous was 7.3 (45) to 2.2 (14) Round 4 2000 at Adelaide.

The scoreless third quarter by Norwood is this seasons first. It is the 2nd time Norwood has failed to score against the Eagles in the 3rd quarter, the other one was in Round 15 2004 at Norwood.

Eagles fell 3 points short of the highest score against Norwood, that was 18.16 (124) in Round 16 1993 at Woodville.

I had Mark Passador down for 1.1 today, which brings his career tally to 200 goals and 100 behinds.
