West Adelaide before Richmond Oval?

Postby Sojourner » Wed Aug 10, 2011 1:30 pm

I know Westies played at Wayville before Richmond and I think they may have had another ground also, where was the administration of the WAFC prior to the move to Richmond?

Westies used Adelaide Oval prior to their shift to Richmond. I don't know where there actual administration was, but for that matter I don't know where South's was either prior to them moving to St Marys. I assume that from Westies shift from Wayville in the late 1930s through to them moving to Richmond in 1958 that they had their admin at Adelaide as well as playing there.
