When did Clubs last wear lace up jumpers?

just trying to track down the history of when clubs stopped wearing them.

I'll certainly stand corrected on this, but thought it was around 1995. Seem to recall Sturt still having them around that time.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

2000 - Sturt and Port had them. The following year, no-one did.

They were banned at the end of the 2001 season. By then, only Port and Sturt had them.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

I last wore one in the SAAFL in 2002 I think I was the last SAAFL player to wear one. Clean skin no sponsors logos on it.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
