Have any SANFL clubs ever actually forfeited a match for any reason?

Port forfeited a semi-final against South in 1902.

Refused to play under umpire Kneebone.

Club sent a letter to the SAFA outlining its intention.

Disqualified from the rest of the finals series...

Round 16, 1990 at Prospect.

North 27.18.180
Sturt 3.2.20

Sturt should have forfeited that day.

There was a number of matches forfeited during 1897 and 1898:

1897:
Round 6 - West forfeited to Port
Round 16 - Torrens f. to South
Round 17 - North f. to South
Round 17 - West f. to Port
Round 19 - North f. to Norwood
1898:
Round 13 - Torrens f. to South
1901:
Round 21 - South f. to West

And the 1902 match above

In addition to that, South/Sturt in Round 22 (or the 22nd series of matches) 1901 was not played; along with the North/West match of the qualifying round of 1910: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=29392
