On Twitter today Mitch Robinson from Carlton, said he's looking forward to getting back to Richmond when Carlton train here on Saturday.

I asked when he'd played there previously and he replied that he played in the U17 for Westies that year.

Has anyone got any stats or record of him in the GF ?

Mark / Spelly ?

Sorry to ruin what could've been a nice story, but West finished bottom in the U17 in 2007. It was North who beat Port in the GF.

Mitch certainly played for West juniors and I'm pretty sure he played a final at Adelaide Oval.

Mitch played the 2006 premiership with Taite Silverlock and Hamish Hartlett. DO believe he was our top vote getter that year in the association medal.

The funny thing about Mitch, that i still laugh at watching him play, is that one training, we had a 4km time trial followed by a 2.4km time trial. Got through the 4km time trial with some hard work. First lap of the 2.4km time trial, young Mitch decides to jump the fence and go home  Was bloody hilarious running around the ground and seeing one of the boys jump ship

That's right, CK, I was there.

Was Taite wearing the yellow boots?

Thats the year mate. Taite and Hartlett show. One was in the guts, one was up forward (swapping with eachother). One would clear it from the centre, one would goal. They won by 86 points and i think Port were undefeated that year until then?
