rex hunt a rooster !!!

i recall the week when the mike 'the swampfox' patterson passed away & 5AA spoke to rex about mike & i vividly recall rex saying that mike almost got him to prospect to play for north......has anyone any idea how close 'close' is too rex signing to play for north ?.....would have been a coup if it had happened

All I will add to the conversation is I never heard of it, and IMHO, for Rex Hunt to say Patto "almost got him to North" could mean they had a 30 second chat about it after a few beers on New Years Eve. I've learned never to take anything Rex Hunt says all that seriously.

Could have resulted in Rex being a commentator of SANFL over time, had this happened.

OMG!! KG, Rowey & Rex all on the same team ... more than anyone could handle. We wouldn't have had a clue where the ball was all afternoon.
