This is to Spelly...our favourite stats guru, And the bloke with the database to beat all others.

The thread is not designed to start innuendo about favouritism, but simply to put the stats on the pages for everyone to view and form their own view.

Spelly, would it be possible, given the talk of umpiring in recent years, to put up a table - say of this century (2000-2009) - for the following (broken down in to years):

Team: Total frees for (FF): Total Frees against (FA): Games FF>FA: Games FA>FF: Games FA>2*FF: Games won with FA>FF; Games won with FA>2*FF; Reports; Reports (pleaded innocent); Reports (pleaded guilty): Suspensions

2009
2008
2007
etc..

I know this is probably a big job (depending on how you have your database organised) but I, and I'm sure many others, would be interested to see these stats. I appreciate whatever you can do.

We might see some interesting stats that suggest discipline (or rather lack of it) has been a major concern for clubs "in the mix"

Best ask Phil Herden for this info (at least the free kick info). I used to collate the total stats for the teams according to the Advertiser, but I haven't done that from 2007. But see what Phil has to offer on that first. As for reports, I don't have any information on that either, although I'd like to.
