I bought a couple of budgets from around that era at "The Toss of the Coin" and had a bit of a chuckle about that.

I may be able to go one better on this subject.....


If you have a look at SANFL Budgets from the late 60's & early 70's you will see full page advertisements extoling the virtues of the HOLDFAST HEALTH CLINIC regularly. This establishment located conveniently on Tapleys Hill Road was also enthusiastically endorsed, and frequented, at one point by an elusive triple Magarey Medallist who is not Barrie Robran.

A great place to get your Head polished, I am reliably informed.
