Having his name come up in the Tonne Twice in 2 years, and doing a bit of research on him today, what puzzles me is what his initials are?

Could be wrong...

But reakon Christopher is one the C's in question...

Christopher "Diddy" Munro
Recruited from West Adelaide after an inauspicious three years in which he played only 9 games, C.C. (Diddy) Munro began his football career with South Adelaide in 1932, and immediately found a niche for himself as a full forward. In a brief but explosive 380 goal career of just 69 games with the blue and whites, he topped the club's goalkicking list from 1933 to 1936, and became the only South Adelaide player to ever kick 100 goals in a season, booting 115 in the premiership side of 1935, only to be pipped by the great Ken Farmer's 128. Included in this were 6 goals straight in that year's grand final. Even though he was not six foot in height, he had a great leap and made his mark in interstate competition, representing the state with distinction from 1933 to 1936.

Thanks, that's been bugging me for ages, and no one seems to know.

I went to school with Diddys grandson. Diddy took us regularly to the South games at Adelaide Oval, I was very young at the time but thought he was terribly small for a full forward obviously of some note. Obviously despite being a very good player he played much of his career in the shadow of Ken Farmer.

Speaking of 100 goalkicking forwards, my grade 4 school teacher was Bo Morton's daughter. We had a school excursion to Hallett Cove and Bo tagged along. He was a big hit with the boys once they were told he played league football for Sturt years before. They'd seen him on the footy panels on TV but didn't realised he played. He was very surprised some of us knew who he was. Seemed like a very nice man.
