G'day,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me a list of North Adelaide's final Minor round placing's in their premiership years?

(Apologies if this question has been asked before)

Cheers,
CP

If you're looking for a new club CP, try a little further North.

Cheers for that LL ... On the ABC coverage yesterday one of the commentators commented that "North have never won a qualifying final" which I found hard to believe, given the number of flags they have won!

Until yesterday we'd only played in 5. 1973,1990,1991,1992 and last year. We beat the Eagles in 1991 but we lost the others.

LL, you should include the war years when we played with Norwood and actually won a premiership from bottom of the ladder, I don't think that's been done too many times. :D

I was at that game - the first leg of the double header was West beating Port and a young FF called Anthony Modra was just starting to show some good signs ....

Yep and at the end of the Elimination Final when Port were knocked out before we even played the Qualifying final I said there and then the flag was ours as Port were the only team in the Top 5 that might have troubled us.
One of the few times I've been right! :D

Ah yes, late in the last term, West in front by a mile yet Roger Delaney was still trying to rough the young Modra up. Modra, having finally got tired of this, proceeded to turn around and point to the scoreboard for poor old Roge

Can still remember the cheer that went up for that. Great stuff.
