North vs South, 2006 1st Semi Final.

In what has been a bit of a pattern in the past few years of finals we've played in, North didn't dominate until the last quarter. Ladhams kicks 5 very handy goals. Players were withdrawn before the game, Howard was off injured in the first 2 minutes of the game, 2 or 3 others spent time on the bench due to injuries, and many were not 100%. About 15 points down late in the 3rd quarter, it didn't look good, but we outran and outclassed them in the last quarter. Highlights from Adelaide Oval:

North vs South, 2006.

Ebert's 100th game in a very comfortable win. Very dominant display by our big forwards - Hargs, Alleway and Gill. Highlights from Prospect Oval:

North vs Sturt, 2007.

North were very much on top in the 1st half, but Sturt came back well during the 3rd quarter, in the end a good win to the Roosters. Weatherly ends his season with a nasty leg injury, and Cubillo hits Johncock with a strong hip-and-shoulder. Highlights from Prospect Oval:

North vs Glenelg, Round 13, 2006.

Dismal weather and a dismal crowd, but a very good win for the (top-of-the-ladder at the time) Roosters. Some nice goals scored in the tough conditions. Highlights from Prospect Oval:

North vs Centrals - Round 6, 2005.

We hadn't beat Centrals since 1997, so this was a huge win for the club. North started strong, Centrals came right back in the 3rd 1/4, but North finished off well for a hard fought victory.

Thanks for the offer Wedgie, i'll follow that up with you sometime :)

Even though Port beaten in both :(

I just had a look at the first instalment of 72 (previously had a look at all the parts on there), didn't notice B Robran a great deal, but in saying this i'm sure theres only about a quarter of the whole match on youtube, because the first term ends after 8 minutes (ie 8 minutes of youtube)

I'll probably go and watch the rest of the parts soon, but i'm wondering in meantime if anyone possibly has goalkickers/best players for both teams and/or a player list with guernsey numbers..

As luck would have it, I've only got 71 and not 72s' scorers and best players.

Wonderful memories, but how poignant to see Bristles Parsons and Helen Redden both being interviewed by Rick Davies. May they both rest in peace.
