Unless if A Hunt played for West after 1975, it is definitely not Adrian Hunt.

I found a listing in the 1976 Football Buget and it is definitely Adrian Hunt. However, in the 1973 budget there is a listing for A Hunt, but as you say it cannot be Adian in 1973. So there were two A Hunts, one in 73 and one in 76.

I have some first names from players I gave you:

Adrian Storch
Peter Munn
Kevin Douglas
Allan Turner
Donald Nunn

P Kerston is interesting. I know there was a Phil Kerston who played for West from 1977 onwards, but there is also a PW Kerston listed in 72 & 73. I don't know if it's the same one.

I know Neil Groves played for West in 1977, but I don't know if it's the same Groves that was listed from 1972 to 1974.

Also, you have Trevor Papst listed but his name is Terry Papst.

I don't know for sure but it could well be. Kevin Douglas played his league games for South from 1971-73, the West Adelaide Kevin Douglas played in 1975.

I have a feeling that Ferguson and Hayes played for South. Is this correct?
Also, is Ray O'Reilly the same player as Red O'Reilly?
Is that Ports' Michael Tate?

South's Ian Ferguson played in 1972, West's Ian Ferguson played in 1986.
West's Leo Hayes was recruited from East Perth and played only 1 game in 1980. I don't know when South's Leo Hayes played, but I'd say it's not the same player.
I'd say Ray O'Reilly and Red O'Reilly are the same plater. From memory, O'Reilly had redish hair.
Michael Tate did play for both Port Adelaide and West Adelaide.

I never heard Ray O'Rielly called Red. Although he did have reddish hair. Was a tough little nut, Army boy. Seem to recall he was recruited from Queensland, but may be wrong.

Greg Johnston was a kid from Brocken Hill, with talent to burn, however just appeared dead lazy. Apparently fell asleep on the concrete drive at work one day. If we had hindsight on our side probably suffered from ADHD not sure of the correct term, but one is overactive the other opposite, ie: cant concentrate and appears in their own world. He was that one!

The correct medication and he could have been one special player.

Well I don't know who originally came up with Red O'Reilly - might have been red and black.

First names of players Adelaide Hawk listed:
I Drummond (Ian)
J Hayes (John - as well! A middle initial might be necessary here for either player)
M Leske (Michael)
D Villis (Don)
D Walker (Damien)
