They should award it retrospectively so Ken Farmer can have the most Ken Farmer medals!

Spelly, what would be the highest tally of goals for the 2nd leading goalkicker of a club, where the leading goalkicker kicked 100 in a season?

I don't know for sure, but it is likely that Bruce Lindners' 77 goals in 1983 is the answer.

Know it's the WAFL, but Stephen Malaxos kicked a heap of goals one year, perhaps 80-90 and another Claremont player kicked well over the ton.

Kinda off topic for the SA footy forum but that other player was Warren Ralph, and it was 1981 & 1982 where they both kicked huge bags:

1981

Warren Ralph - 127.69
Steve Malaxos - 82.41
Brett Farmer - 67.32
Phil Krakouer - 50.17
Jim Krakouer - 49.31

1982

Warren Ralph - 115.65
Steve Malaxos - 91.64
Brett Farmer - 46.25

South Fremantle's 1981 side also had a large number of high tallies:

Bruce Monteath - 78.57
Brad Hardie - 75.53
Noel Carter - 66.42
