This footage is from "Sensational Seventies". I recall about 10 years ago on the short-lived Channel 7 rival to the Footy Show "Live and Kicking" more bits and pieces were shown of that match. No doubt the Vics kept more footage of that match over the following days match for those reasons (the result being the other)
Thanks Spelly! It's pretty compelling viewing IMO. The Carlton boys just run up to him to remonstrate and sort of say "Hey leave my mate alone!" and Brown throws well aimed punch after punch at whoever comes up at him. It's funny watching the East Perth player eventually restrain him, his body language seems to suggest that Brown may take a swing at him also unless he gets control of his arms quick.
