Not sure will look into that further. Do you have years for Tonkin at Norwood and Fitzpatrick at Port?

Jim Beasley and John Rout played for Medindie (1890 - 1892) Both had previously played for South Adelaide.

Seems unlikely. Would make him in his late 20's when at Medindie.

Cheers. There is a copy of that in the NAFC History Book. Very rare photo. I've only ever seen it once before in a magazine from the 60's which I saw at a fair (didn't buy) and have been trying to find since.
I've managed to find some missing first names.

That was the same year that Medindie joined the league, who went on to become the North Adelaide that we now know in 1893.
There was also a club called North Adelaide that played in 1883 & 1884.

I found an article which states that A.H Finlay (Norwood) played one match with Medindie in 1891. He applied for a permit with the SAFA early in the 1892. The same article also says that R.Ewers (who had played with South) also applied for a permit to play with Norwood.

F.Pash is Frederick
S.Pash is Sidney
That is Chris Bennett also his brother Tim. They both went onto ADELAIDE (not West - I was confusing the red and black teams ) then North Adelaide.
