Ebert, Evans & Me wrote:While not up to the level of some of the other schools mentioned here, I played on the same Seaton High School side as David Niemann, Michael Dibiase, a couple of blokes who played B Grade for Torrens, and apparently Mitchell White. South Australian cricketer Shane George also wasn't the worst footballer going around.

Niemann of course made his league debut for Torrens while still in Year 10 but continued to play for Seaton in midweek games. I remember him thrashing a certain Matthew Robran in one school match.

And, although she was a few years younger than me, Nikki Visser was also a Seaton High School student.

Bet a few of the boys wanted Nikki on the team to help them with their ball skills

Most notable footballers from my old HS, Riverton, would be Luke McCabe (Haw + CD), Daniel Healy (StK + CD) and Johnny Haysman (hula hoop legend)

Bit of a blast from the past, but how about Ian Hannaford and Jim Michaelany?

Cotts started at Trinity, finished at Trinity as far as I'm aware. He was in my house at school, along with the three Couzner boys.

Steve Eichner was definatley from Trinity, along with Walts, Kinnear, Schelly, the Whistons, former Redback cricketer, now QLD Bull Ryan Harris and I think Centrals lad Kane Officer as well...

From my school, Fremont-Elizabeth High a couple of familiar names include:

Paul Thomas - Elizabeth, Eastern Park*, Centrals: SANFL, Essendon: AFL, Centrals: SANFL (captain)

Eddie Sansbury - Central Juniors, Centrals: SANFL, North Melbourne: AFL

Fred Auigus - Centrals: SANFL, Adelaide United: Hyundai A League - soccer

Kristian Rees - Adelaide United, Wellington Pheonix: Hyundai A League - soccer

Micahael Buckskin - Centrals: SANFL, West Adelaide: SANFL

* I was really good mates with all these lads, except maybe Kristian Rees, who was a few years older but we did play soccer with him at lunch time, and was best mates with Thommo all throughout high school years. Played school footy with all of them, again except Kristian and although many of you will not know this, Thommo actually came out and played a couple of games with me in Eastern Parks U/17's side as his original club Elizabeth, could not field a side and he needed a local club to go back to when he wasn't with Centrals U/17's.

Kane was at Trinity, I remember him as a youngster.

Also from Trinity was Mark Cosgrove. Used to sneak off to Maccas at lunch time by all accounts.

You don't say... !!!

Cossie is a regular at Centrals games and I met him a couple of times during a couple of training sessions I did out at Salisbury FC (before injury got the better of me again !!) where he was really keen on doing some extra sessions on his own accord.

Wasn't too bad a footballer on the track either, Eddie Hocking made sure he worked his butt off in a couple of sessions I witnessed...

Well, if your memory is outstanding, I was one of the half back flankers. I have a hazy recollection of Ingle Farm although my best memories of the Pizza Hut Cup were playing against Sacred Heart College, where our coach Chris Brown (who used to write on junior football for, probably, the Football Times), revved us up on how they were a bunch of effete upper class dandies who were making fun of our working class roots. The Sacred Heart coach later claimed it was the roughest game he had ever seen.
