Fair to say we copped an absolute caning that day on the Dequettville Tce Oval.
Very bad times for Igs that day.
Yeah there were a few others ... David Pittman was probably in that side, aswell as the other Maynard brother ... Simon Cowan (I think that was the name) was around the same time as Scott Russell.
Don't think Scott Field went there, although there was a Veale I think might have?? Was also a Muir that later played for Norwood and Uni and Stephen Daniels ... Of current players, the two Lower boys went there aswell.

Let's start with D Jarman, A Jarman, T Modra, K Farmer, B Phillips, A Antrobus, M Ricciuto, J Platten, C Bradley, S Kernahan, B Robran, R Ebert & M Blight.
That'll do. Point made. No correlation between college football and SANFL/AFL success.

Anyhoo, I'm as sure as I can be that Sean Tasker (North and a bit of early Crows) was a Blackfriars kid, too. Probably throw Matt Campbell (North and Brisbane Bears) into the mix... unless anyone knows that I'm completely wrong.
Oh, and Paul Hine, early 80s (or thereabouts) Woodville player taught (and for all I know might still teach) at the school. Although that probably doesn't count.
