Here is the stats I took from the video I taped of that match when it was on Fox Footy:

Unfortunately it excludes about the first 8-10 minutes of the third quarter. (It wasn't shown) :(

 :)

Might seem that way. But like I have said - nothing good on TV means I am always on here when I am at home.

Here's the 2006 team:

Coach: Premiership Coach
F: Chad O'Sullivan (CD), Mark Passador (E), Brant Chambers (St)
HF: Tim Inkster (E), Nick Gill (NA), Heath Younie (NA)
C: Leigh Ryswyk (NA), James Gowans (CD), Rhys Archard (SA)
HB: Luke Ivens (NA), Mark McKenzie (E), Nick Jackman (N)
B: Mark Clayton (PA), Corey AhChee (PA), Brett Zorzi (N)
Ruck: Paul Lindsay (E), Justin Cicolella (E), Jeremy Clayton (PA)
Int: Craig Parry (SA), Matthew Slade (CD), Brett Backwell (G), Dean Howard (NA)

Would have been a little embarrassing if they hadn't squeezed Brett Backwell in on the bench :)

Good team none-the-less.

Had the privelege of seeing Kerley play for West,South and Glenelg. The guy could play, though clearly not in Robrans class. Early when he played for westies in the late '50's ,westies were always the bridesmaids to Port. Port won 5 flags in a row all or most defeating west in the gf. Port embraced a very physical style of game almost bordering on thuggery, this was aided and abetted by the leading umpire odf the time, Lawrie Sweeney. Kerley took all that Chicken Hayes and Marx Kretschmer & co. could throw at him and the gave out a fair bit as well. He was the protector of westies small men but he could play as well.
My father tells me in a state game vs Vic he stood Barassi who was in his prime, Barassi spent most of the day running away from Kerley and Barassi was no wallflower either.
In 1964 when South last won the flag during the 2nd semi, KG Cunningham the umpire bounced the ball in the last quarter and it sailed over his head, Kerley flew for the tap and "accidently" kneed KG in the head. He was replaced by the emergency ump and Port went straight into the gf. South defeated Sturt in the prelim and went on to play port in the gf.
Prior to the commencement of the game in those days the umpire used to inspect the players spriggs, the players all used to line up and lift their feet up behind them for the umpire to run his hand over the spriggs.Anyway the south boys all lined up and KG proceeded down the line where he found Kerley at the end. KG wished Kerley all the best etc and Kerley replied with " umpire like you did in the 2nd semi again and you wont see 1/4 time this week.."
Not sure if its true but its a good story anyway!

It's true, I've heard Kerley tell that story a few times over the years.

Which Long was it for Glenelg in 1964 and 1967?

Also, I'd assume that would be Ron Andrews for West in 1985?

It was Doug Long in both 1964 and 1967. Ron Andrews did play for West Adelaide in 1985, but he wasn't selected in the Advertiser Team of the Year.
