Biggest Grand Final upset

..... as did Port in the late 80s and 90s. They finished minor premiers some of their premiership years but not all. In fact, they even let 2 second semi finals slip badly yet still win the flag (94 and 96).

Premiership teams aim to peak in September, even if that means they finish the minor round in 3rd (but no lower .... mostly!)

1978. I was there as a neutral supporter and everyone thought Sturt would win. I was not disappointed to see Norwood get up though.
