Interclub Transfers

Postby Jayjake » Fri Apr 03, 2009 11:35 pm

Trying to settle an arguement. Wonder if it has ever been discussed or could even be tracked. But is there any records that keep track of which club has recruited the most players from other SANFL clubs. For example my mate always gives me a hard time about how many players the Bays have taken from South over the years.

We did discuss the particular pair of clubs that have "traded" players; but not this. I have only got a list of players and the clubs they played for, and not necessarily in the order they played for. So that unfortunately is a problem to find out that.

Heres one (two) for you Spelly

- Who has played the most games for a club that they have been traded to?
- Who has played the most games before being traded?

Just to point out that Davies was actually sacked by Sturt before he went to South.
