Actually for that last match, the score that matches up with the ladder is this:

Round 8 1898
Torrens 1.2 1.5 -.- 5.9 (39)
West 0.0 0.3 2.5 5.7 (37)
Jubilee

That is, each side scored one less behind.

The 1897 scores all match the ladder except for:

Round 10 - Norwood vs North score may be 6.9 to 3.3 (I have it as 6.10 to 3.3)
Round 14 - South vs Port score may be 1.6 to 6.8 (1.6 to 6.9)
Round 19 - Norwood vs Torrens score may be 9.7 to 2.5 (7.9 to 2.4)
