Port vs Sturt

5.9 (39) by Sturt is the seasons equal lowest score - West kicked 5.9 against North in Round 10.

Clive Waterhouse beat Sturt by 6 points - 7.3 (45) to 5.9 (39). This is the first time a played has outscored the opposition this season, last time was when both Chris Knights and Mark Passador kicked 3.2 (20) agianst Souths' 2.7 (19) in Round 23 last year. It is the 64th time that a player has outscored the opposition that I know of. The last time a Port player outscored the opposition was when Bryan Beinke kicked 5.0 (30) to Sturts 3.9 (27), Round 23 2001.

The crowd of 2,704 is the lowest ever between the two clubs at Alberton. (I think I heard on the radio it was a good crowd)

North vs South

The crowd of 2,786 is the highest between the two clubs at Prospect since the Power entered the AFL in 1997. (Round 22 1995 to be exact) The record from 1991 is 3,330 in Round 2 1992.

Norwood vs West

23.12 (150) is Wests' highest score this year.

The crowd of 1,912 is the lowest ever between the two clubs at Norwood.

Central vs Glenelg

The crowd of 4,666 is the highest between the two clubs at Elizabeth since the Power entered the AFL in 1997. It is the highest since 5,864 attended in Round 5 1992 - the record from 1991 onwards.

How are the crowds this year?
Up or down?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

A total of 234382 have attended the 82 matches so far.

That is an average of 2858.32 per match.

Last year an average of 2743.44 attended the 90 minor round matches. In 2004 it was 2812.19 and in 2003 it was 2890.41.

In my opinion, given the fine weather this year, the figure should have really been around the 3000 mark.

Hopefully there is little to no rain this weekend as there are a few good matches this weekend which should at least attract 3000 to each.
