Nup, ANZAC has never been a neutral game since 2001, the premier has always given up a home game to play at AO (or Thebarton in last seasons case - was classed as neutral I believe).

I was of the opinion that while a team uses theirs as the home game on ANZAC day it is still just the neutral "home" game that is used - it would have been played at Adelaide anyway. Every team had 9 home and 9 away in 2001 - Central played North twice at Elizabeth, was at Norwood twice and played Eagles and South at Adelaide.

You have the stats and I guess they don't lie, but I have always been told at the club that we have given up a home game for the ANZAC clash (in the years we were reigning premier) - and quite happily so I might add.

I don't disagree with you either, because in 2002, 2003 and 2005 the previous years premier did give up a home match. I was referring to the occasions in which each team meets three times in that season - there is only the "neutral" home match that is given up.
