The Tiwi Islander ruck man, number 3 is David Kantilla. Number 1 is Kerley. The player with the grimace is Ian Day I think.

West v Port. From the looks of what is going on I would say this is half time of the 1954 SANFL Grand Final.....the infamous brawl that took place in the stands when Port supporters set upon the Wests players as they returned to the dressing room at half time following Wests captain Brian Faehse's clash with Ports Dave Boyd in which Boyd had come off second best late in the 2nd quarter.
