I'd be willing to bet Julie Anthony sung at one of the early ones - what year did they start doing it?

I think 1979 was the first with Barry Crocker.
1980: The Four Kinsmen
1981: Thomas Edmonds
1982: Colleen Hewett
1984: Kym Durant - nobody heard here because they were cheering Tim Evans & Craig Balme
1985: Lisa Green
1986: Peter Cupples
1988: ???
1989: ???
1991: Frankie Davison & Catherine Lambert
1992: James Morrison & "Up For Grabs"

In 2002, John Schumann sang a couple of songs, but Victoria Horgan sang the National Anthem.

That list would be Exhibit A in my case to put an end to this sort of pre-game palaver. I'd rather see a long-kicking contest.

One of the more memorable Grand Final appearances - Jackie Love - check out Laurie Argent and Rick Kinnear in it  :

...and then singing:

Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Remember those legs of Jackie Love's very well.
I went on a South Pacific cruise last year and she was one of the guest entertainers!
