Anything to do with the history of the SANFL

Digital version of VFL Football Records..

Postby GWW » Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:02 am

I noticed the Victorian State Library has digital versions of quite a few "Football Records", going back 100 years or so http://digital.slv.vic.gov.au/R/?func=c ... on_id=1081

Not particularly relevant to the history of the SANFL I guess, however I did notice a few "Records" for state games involving SA, although couldn't find 1963. These were the ones I noticed.

1948 Vic v SA - http://takata.slv.vic.gov.au/R/CF73AQQ5 ... base=GEN01

1957 Vic v SA - http://takata.slv.vic.gov.au/R/MA31PQPT ... base=GEN01

1965 Vic v SA - http://takata.slv.vic.gov.au/R/MA31PQPT ... base=GEN01

1975 Championship Series (including SA v Tas) - http://takata.slv.vic.gov.au/R/MA31PQPT ... base=GEN01

Would be good if the SA State Library, perhaps in conjunction with the SANFL, did something similar with SANFL Footy Budgets.

The 1963 Victoria v SA Football Record is the first one listed for 1963, as AFL Record 1963 Other Game 1. I've downloaded 40 years worth of Records so far since they first became available.
Would love to see the SA programs available for downloading as well.
I've scanned the WA Footballer and Football Budget for the WAFL from 1921 to 1974. If anyone is interested, I can do a disc of games involving SA clubs visiting WA in the 1920's and 30's, as well as interstate matches played in WA between the 2 states. The disc will cost $30, including postage. Send me a message of email me at footy.scanner@gmail.com.

1963 AFL !!(???) The Vics are better at re-writing history than Joe Stalin.

So where do you think Stalin got it from  ;)
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
