If you thought the 108 point turnaround by the Eagles versus Sturt over the past two weeks was impressive, take a look at this. If you divide 108 points by the number of days between meetings (7) it equals 15.43 points per day:

This 'turnaround' stat is very misleading.
When teams play the second game, the scores always
commence at zero, therefore the margin of the first game is much like a default setting.
I.E, it hasn't been pegged back by the team winning the second game.
A true 'turnaround' would occur during an actual match.

Thats a huge margin to between the #1/#2 team in the comp at seasons end.

And there was a turnaround in the actual GF. Eagles were a decent margin in front at half time.

Can't argue with your logic, but it's not as if I'm the only person who has used the term for different matches:

It would be interesting to work out the biggest turnaround within the one match. You would need to set a parameter for it - eg. either side would have had to have lead by four goals or so during the game. Having a team lead by a goal or two at quarter time, only to lose by 80 or 90 points I wouldn't qualify as noteworthy as someone leading by 30 points at quarter time, then losing by 70. Only my opinion, of course.
