Glen Pill was a bloody good half back and Brian Mulvihill was a very dangerous full forward.

I agree with Mac. I would have thought purely based on his playing record/achievements at Woodville Ray Huppatz would be the Peckers' best.

The galloping mullett was a legend to all fans, not just of those from Torrens.

Great half-dozen, but I always thought that the Norwood Roberts was a vast improvement on the Torrens Roberts and that the club's best forward of the last 50 years was Geoff Kingston, an all-Australian full forward after all. Kevin McSporran and John Birt would also be worthy of consideration.

Good to see the great man get a mention, as he is the greatest sportsman produced from Port Augusta.
My grandfather Trevor Searle was a state Full Back, I have been told from the late 50's.
My grandmother would always talk of the brilliance of Head.
