Who is betting on who for upcoming series? most runs, wickets etc. H.Amala most runs. Steyn most wickets for SA. Clarke for most runs. Siddle most wickets. putting pineapple on each. plus pineapple on a 0-0 test series result.

Seems to be a bit of inclement weather about in Brisbane over the next 2-3 days.

What's a draw paying?

I will be having plenty on Amala and Clarke most runs.
I also like Steyne and Siddle but not as confident as most runs.
Plenty of rain around in Brisbane, will take the draw. Australia has no chance of winning IMO
Will also take series result SAF 1-0 (Bris/Ade Draws - SAF win in the west)

Peterson most runs for SA
Clarke most runs for AUS

3-0 SA series win

For aus barring injuries most runs for series has to come from Clarke, Ponting, Hussey

Are sports bet doing series betting I couldn't find it any where, someone care to post a link.

Most wickets aus I'm thinking pattinson he bowls alot like Stuart Clarke who the saffers seemed to find unplayable

Just out of interest Australia hasn't lost a test in Brisbane since 18 November 1988 when they lost to the West Indies. Every match since then has either been an Aussie win or a draw. 17 wins, 6 draws.

South Africa haven't played a test in Brisbane since the 6th of December 1963 - a drawn match.

If anyone wants some decent stats go to Howzstat...

Strangely enough i think the best value bet is in the Aussie first innings 1st method of dismissal $4.50 for the LBW.

With Steyn bowling what will be big inswingers to the two left hand openers, always attacking the stumps and no doubt Warner trying to whip him through midwicket i reckon the LB is a huge candidate.

I was having this exact same discussion with a mate this morning only the reverse if SAF are batting and Hilfenhaus is bowling.

$4.50 on a greentop + humidity + first innings nerves + swing bowling

A little help please....

Has anyone seen the "Player Performance" bets on Sportsbet where they allocate 1 point for a run, 10 points for a catch, 20 points for a wicket and 25 for a stumping. You then bet whether a player scores over or under a certain figure. I think the figures quoted are for the match but I'm not 100% sure - can anyone clarify this?

If they are match figures then there are some juicy looking bets with most players benchmark under 100 points. Someone like Graeme Smith for example is 81.5 points. Being an opening batsman and a slips fielder he only needs to make 62 runs over two innings with the bat then take a couple of catches and there's your points. Has anyone experimented with these betting fields before?

Yeah I really like the Matty wade overs.

I think the top order is gonna struggle so wade will get plenty of time to spend at the crease if his good enough, plus being a keep a few catches should be in order
