Balaklava Cup

Good day racing fans of SA Footy!

Balaklava Cup Day is fast nearing! Be sure to mark Wednesday, September 5 in the diary and get right around it for what is sure to be another HUGE day!
This year's Face of the Cup, Nova FM's Maz Compton, is up in town tomorrow to help kick off the promotions.
Be sure to book your marquee etc nice and early, it's a day not to be missed.
Fast building a reputation as SA's best country meet!
Hopefully getting Rob Waterhouse back in the bookie's ring again, after enjoying a great day last year.
Legendary jockey, Malcolm "Miracle" Johnston, of Kingston Town fame, will also be a guest speaker at the media launch with Compton on July 27 at the Lakes Resort Hotel.

Latest update is everything is set for another big year.

Last I heard from Rob Waterhouse, he was coming down but little has been heard on that front for a while.

With Maz as Face of the Cup, there is hope there could be plenty more young fillies heading trackside this year.
