anyone else having a few bets on the local tonight? 9 races tonight so i thought id chuck some coin in the account and have a go.
any tips on the program tonight?
in the first i cant go past a quinella:3/5 look to be the class horses in the race and with quite a few horses having form, it might pay $4/5.

hmm so i make a thread for the first time in the gambling room, so a storm hits and they put back the first race 30 mins.
ok locked in 3/5 quinella for 10 bucks.

race 2:have gone for the 2 favs in the paper again. main reason being one of them is still $8 with 6 mins to go.so the quinella should pay atleast $5
my selections are 8/9 for $10

race 3: well no 1 should lead, and number 7 is right on his back, and should quinella the race. i suspect the 5 will be in the breeze all the way.and will weaken up the home straight, being the 2230 trip.only thing that worries me is the harding factor.
selections:1/7 quinella for $10 wont be a huge payout but should get me up.hoping for $4

i may be way off here but race 7: no 4 flowover appeals to me.6 mins to start at $8.40 tells me that someone has had a go at him. so...
selections: race, 7, no 4, 5 eachway at odds, im sure he will blow out.

so his leading, 400m to go, has them all off the bit, and gallops, and comes 5th
