Talking to the bookie at Strath greyhounds tonight. He gave every indication that there was every likelyhood that they'd have to give it away due to very low turnover. With the miniscule crowd there it;s very understandable.
This then has a snowball effect on the club as then the few tote punters that put through the majority of on-course turnover will cease to attend and the club suffers more.

Was also told the Port Pirie greyhound club is all but finished as well.

nice enough lad McAtee but from my experience his percentage was extremely high.

its sad that he is going for a year id ventuure up there regularly with Bayman and would more often then not make a profit for pocket money.

it is the best by far race track in south australia

I don't mind Gregory Mac BUT lets face it his odds are carp.

Theres not much he can do though if there is no patrons there.
