Grubs Jockey Challenge

This thread is to keep an eye on my profit/loss records as I try to beat the bookies on the Jockey Challenges.
When they bet around 140% we hare going to have to be shrewd ands do our homework.
Lets set a few ground rules for the System......
1. Never back odds-on
2. Never back Paul Gatt or Kerrin McEvoy
3. The selected bet has to be 'over the odds'
4. Never back JC Quinellas unless there is a slow rection at Sportingbet then it can be quite a useful tool to not only back the slow reaction (overs) winner but save incase he runs second also.
5. Check regurlarly that the bet stands and every jockey has had a ride.
6. Do not bet everyday just for the sake of a bet. If so do it small.
7. Have money in all accounts to pounce on mistakes/over-reactions/slow updates etc.
Keeping a track of your punting is of most importance to see how you are really going. I urge you all to do it so we can follow your progress. All this thread is for to keep track of our punting.

Poor day on the jockey challenges, thank god for my 1 straight out bet.

Just reading my initial post, maybe I should rephrase. Maybe We should have a Profit and Loss (P&L) on bets and a P&L on jockeys challenge.

What about insurance bets? Ie, you have a jockey leading going into the last race and you back the ride of the one other Jockey that could pip you in the last .. A bet that wouldn't have otherwise been made?
