T20 Big Bash 2011

Postby Dutchy » Sat Jan 01, 2011 10:18 pm

One game in some assessments -

Tassie, very well balanced team with spin, meds, hitters and grafters. Really impressed with them in the first game in Perth and reckon they are a definate top 3 team.

WA - Ordinary, Lewis WTF? Chris Gayle their only positive and that was his bowling! Bowling is very very ordinary and their bats that performed a couple of years ago aint firing or even giving a hint of firing. Will finish dead last and might struggle to win a game IMO.

Would be interested in others thoughts.

Agree with the bat first system
Except IF VIC bat 2nd, either half your bet, or watch the game

What are your thoughts on tonights game redbacks v NSW? On paper the redbacks look to have a more experienced batting line up and appear a good chance at home.

EASY CASH   8) ;) seriously though when a batting line up loses 5/21 they aren't going to win too many games yet pollard almost did off his own bat, the bowling line up for nsw is probably as good as the australian line up  lee, doc clark, bollinger, hauritz & the M.O.M o'keefe

My summation of tonight -

SA - Some dumb batting cost them, no real structure, too many caught in the outfield. Bowling was pretty good and fielding only average, they gave their bats every chance to get the win.

NSW -Their bowling is excellent, but they will need to be IMO as their batting is quite weak, they also field well so maybe can defend some small totals this season. Not a top 3 side though.

G stick to the trots mate
SA almost won the world 20/20 championship
They are a better team than NS
Better teams, better horses, better betters do get beaten in sport

NS apart from WARNER sent over the absolute worst batting line up Ive seen in 20/20 cricket for a while
But they still managed to win

MAL it was a typical SA performance where they NEARLY get the job done.

Thats 2 contests in about a month [Ryobi and the Big Bash] against the vastly INFERIOR NSW that have resulted in lucky wins to the Blues
- No wonder the whispers are around that your Cricket betting this Summer belongs in the Schitzenhaus

any team that loses 5/21 in a match isn't going to recover & win very often.....scoreboard pressure is huge in T20
